Can I use LINE translation directly inside a group chat?
Yes. Myna is built for real-time LINE group translation, so you do not need to open another translation app or keep copying and pasting messages. Once Myna is added to the group and set up, translation can happen directly inside the group chat.
Is Myna an app?
No. Myna is just an official LINE account. All settings are handled directly in the group chat window. There is no extra app to install and no separate settings page.
How is it different from Google Translate?
Myna is built for LINE group translation in real time. Instead of moving between chat and a translation app, you can translate messages directly inside the LINE group. It also supports same-language correction when you want the sentence to sound more natural.
What kinds of situations is it good for?
Common use cases include multilingual friend groups, international team chats, language exchange groups, travel planning groups, Japanese study groups, and any chat where you want real-time translation plus quick sentence correction. If you need translation inside a LINE group instead of one-off lookups, Myna fits better.
Can I ask it to translate only when I need it?
Yes. Even though Myna is designed for LINE real-time translation, you can still control when translation runs. If a message starts with two spaces, that message will be skipped. In mute mode, those two leading spaces work in the opposite way and trigger translation instead.
Do I need to use commands?
No. In most cases, you can simply mention Myna in the group and describe how you want messages translated or corrected. Commands are only there if you prefer more explicit control.
Which languages are supported?
Any language code you can commonly find online can be used.
Can it translate and correct English at the same time?
Yes. You can describe the setup in plain language, for example, "translate Chinese to English and also correct my English." Myna will turn that into a chat-wide setting and keep applying it. Two-way translation, multi-language translation, and output-specific rules can also be described in the same request.
Why doesn't Myna's translation continue from the previous message?
Because Myna does not store extra conversation history. It only uses the triggered message itself to infer context and translate. Without recorded chat context, it cannot reliably reference earlier messages. When a single message does not clearly express the speaker's point of view, the translation may reflect the wrong perspective. For example, if a father says to his son, "Mom and I are going out later," meaning his wife and the son's mother, the translation could incorrectly become "I and my mom ..."
